Specifying octave instance in %%octave magic

I have a Jupyter notebook with base python kernel and oct2py. I access the octave instance per notebook as follows:

%load_ext oct2py.ipython
import oct2py
oc = oct2py.Oct2Py(temp_dir="/software/notebooks/nb1")

But this instance is not recognized by the %%octave magic. Is there a way to force %%octace to use oc?

oct2py is a seperate project. Probably, you will get more help in their issue tracker on GitHub.

Thanks @siko1056 for the pointer. The temp_dir option is now included in oct2py release v5.3.0
